Choral Society of Durham

Durham

Founded in 1949, the Choral Society of Durham regularly performs with professional orchestra and regionally and nationally known soloists. The group also engages in outreach to music students in area public schools. The 30-voice Chamber Choir, often featured in portions of Choral Society concerts, presents its own programs in the community.

    Dues/Fees: $75 per year, plus cost of music

      Venue Notes

        The Durham Arts Council Building is located downtown at the corner of Morris and Morgan Streets, directly behind the Carolina Theatre and Marriott Hotel and across the street from the SouthBank building. Parking is on the street or at the nearby parking deck.
