Raleigh Boychoir

The Raleigh Boychoir was founded in 1968 to give boys aged 8-15 years an opportunity to learn and perform some of the world's great choral music. The Boychoir is committed both to artistic excellence and to developing each boy's confidence and character. The group has performed at the White House, Carnegie Hall and National Catherdral, and has toured several European countries.

Chorus Basics: Boys' chorus, 45 singers

    Audition: Required

    Dues/Fees: $87 per month

    Other expenses: Attire, including monogrammed shirts. Performing choir also needs sweaters, jackets, slacks and ties

    Note: Auditions are held three times per year, by appointment.

Regular Rehearsals
    When: Tuesday

    Rehearsal Season: August to June

    Note: There are four different choirs and five different rehearsal schedules. Boys are placed first into the Training Choir, which rehearses every Wednesday evening.
