Triangle Gay Men's Chorus is a vital part of local culture: "Brothers Singing: Declaring Pride, Touching Lives." The goals are to strengthen the spirit and open presence of the gay community, and to provide to the public a positive image of this community. The group's literature varies greatly in genre and style. TGMC is open to ALL gay and gay-affirming men, to develop their interests and display their musical talents in a professional manner.

Chorus Basics: Men's chorus, 25 singers

    Audition: For voice placement only

    Dues/Fees: $90 per year

    Other expenses: Dues scholarships and installment plans are available. Performance attire (tuxedo) must be accessible. Dues for Spring Season only: (March-June) $40.

Regular Rehearsals
    When: Tuesday, 6:45 - 9:15 PM

    Rehearsal Season: September to June

    Note: Rehearsals are mandatory. No, you do NOT have to be gay to join.

      Venue Notes

        The Durham Arts Council Building is located downtown at the corner of Morris and Morgan Streets, directly behind the Carolina Theatre and Marriott Hotel and across the street from the SouthBank building. Parking is on the street or at the nearby parking deck.
