United Voices of Praise
United Voices of Praise sings traditional and contemporary African-American gospel music with joy and spirituality that transcends differences among people. The group grew out of a 1995 Christmas performance by United Church of Chapel Hill's gospel choir and the choir of Fisher Memorial Holy Church in Durham. All singers are welcome, regardless of affiliation. In addition to monthly services at both churches, United Voices sings at community events and has toured Europe.

The church is on the west side (left, coming from downtown Chapel Hill) of Martin Luther King , Jr., Boulevard (N.C. 86, formerly Airport Road), one block north of Homestead Road intersection. From I-40, take exit 266 toward Chapel Hill and travel 1.6 miles on N.C. 86 South (MLK Boulevard). The driveway to the church is on the right. Additional parking is available in the UNC lot off Homestead Road and along Homestead Park Road.
