A Christmas Rose

The CHCC a cappella chamber ensemble, Cantari, explores music from the 15th century forward. It's rare for a classical music group to perform works by a composer better known for the BBC's longest running Sci-fi television series, Dr. Who. But Cantari will feature works by Bennett who, along with composing for Dr. Who, has received Academy Award nominations for scoring Four Weddings and a Funeral and Enchanted April, and has been called one of the leading composers of the 20th century by Gay Times. The varied program concludes with a work , Cesar Carrillo's Spanish language version of Silent Night.
