Alice Parker: Anthem and Hymn Sing

Saint Francis Choir

Alice Parker, world-renowned choral music conductor, arranger and composer, will conduct participants of the weekend's Choral Workshop in the Sunday morning service anthem and will lead the congregation in a hymn sing. This event is part of an entire weekend of events led by Alice Parker at Saint Francis United Methodist Church, also including a Community Sing and the Choral Workshop.

During the 8:30 AM service, Ms. Parker will conduct Cantamos (the Saint Francis youth choir) in "God Is Seen." During the 11:00 AM service, she will conduct St. Francis Choir and Choral Workshop participants in "Speak Peace" and "Hark I Hear the Harps Eternal." She will lead the congregation for a 20-30 minute hymn sing during both services.
