Return to Joy
Themes of grief, loss, rebirth and joy will be explored in a wide variety of music including Giovanni Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Michael Isaacson's Holocaust cantata Cradle of Fire, and several pieces by modern women composers. One notable work is an area premiere of Songs from Behind the Caravan, a new work by Abbie Betinis, set to Persian poetry by the 14th-century poet Hâfez. (See note below on lecture preceding the concert.)

- Follow Campus Drive to a Stop sign at a one-way traffic circle; take the second exit to the right, which is the entrance gate to Chapel Drive; the chapel is at the end. Since street parking is usually difficult, proceed to Science Drive (a couple blocks off Towerview Drive) to the visitor's lot, Bryan Center parking deck or Biological Sciences lot.
