Events Calendar Listing

The Events Calendar announces any and all local performances and other activities open to the public that feature ensemble singing. Please see About TriangleSings! for further eligibility details.

Your free posting event will have its own detailed page, "linked" to the Calendar. Each listing is created directly from material sent by presenters on the form below; it goes online after a quick review/edit.

If information is received by the 22nd of the preceding month, the activity will be highlighted in the Choral Notes newsletter. To call special attention to your event, you may wish to Sponsor the Calendar or offer discounted tickets to TriangleSings! patrons.

First, please check the Calendar to see whether the event is already listed. If not, proceed with the form. (Try to make your submission complete, though you may revise later.) If the event is there and needs alteration, send only the additions or changes; Member Groups must use the editing page for updates.

In most instances, your event will appear on the Calendar in a couple days. Please revisit the website then, and let us know if there are any problems.

Submitting
New Listing — Where * appears, the information must be provided. Also, please observe the "house rules" for filling out TriangleSings! forms, and do not use:
  • Abbreviations (make it Road, not Rd.)
  • ALL CAPS, exclamation points (!) or verbal hype
  • First person (I, we)

Revision-Update — Member Groups: Do not use this form; your changes must be made at the editing page. Others: Fill in only your name, email address, group, activity date and new info. You may wish to summarize changes in Details/Notes at the end of the form.

The Event
This will become your "headline" on the Calendar as well as on your event page. Be specific: e.g., "Madrigals of Masters" or "Verdi's Requiem," instead of just "Concert."

A few enticing/explanatory sentences should go here! Do not plug in entire press releases; do not include details (date, conductor, etc.) provided elsewhere in the form. If the performance is by a subgroup of a Member Chorus (chamber ensemble, summer choir, etc.), please indicate that here; the listing nonetheless belongs under the name of the parent ensemble. Indicate here if this involves a worship service: these are generally ineligible for the Events Calendar unless they are major works (at least 45 minutes) and/or special circumstances. Sorry, the system does not accommodate listings by two Member Groups; whoever fills out the form first gets the benefit.
Name of ensemble; or "20-piece orchestra," "organ and timpani," etc. Alternatively, provide musician's name followed by , [comma] then instrument, with ; [semicolon] separating individual players.

You're welcome to offer reduced (at least 15 percent) rates on advance-purchase tickets to the website's users. This option is available to contributors of at least $40 (see Supporting TriangleSings!); individuals may donate on behalf of an organization. Just put your specifics (dates, prices, how to purchase) above, and also please notify TriangleSings! by email.
