Sponsoring a Calendar month connects you to a highly targeted audience...and demonstrates your support of TriangleSings! This option is open to all groups with listings in either the Events Calendar or the Auditions & Calls Calendar.
Sponsorship means your organization and its upcoming activity become part of the Calendar "banner" – where they are linked to the event or call page, and also directly linked to the group's or concert's website. Similarly, the banner information appears in the monthly Choral Notes email newsletter. In addition, Events Calendar sponsors are highlighted in the upcoming activity list on the TriangleSings! homepage. Finally, you will be thanked at Supporting TriangleSings!
In short...your group and the month's listing will stand out!
Sponsorship is limited to a maximum of two presenters per Calendar, per month. When there are two, placement is rotated so that each appears first part of the time. (Effective 2008, the only way to ensure "exclusive" sponsorship of a month, guaranteeing just one organization, is to pay double the rate.)
The cost to underwrite an Events Calendar month ranges from $60 to $105 (see below), based on website traffic and Calendar postings in previous years. For the Auditions & Calls Calendar, the charge is $60 – except for August, which is $85.
Groups that sponsor more than one month during a calendar year receive a 10 percent discount after the first month. Individuals are welcome to pay on behalf of a group.
Please contact TriangleSings! about availability. Once your request is confirmed, send a check payable to TriangleSings to: Carol Robbins, 705 Fearrington Post, Pittsboro, NC 27312. Payment is due six weeks prior to the beginning of the sponsored month. Underwriters' banners usually are added to the Calendars early in the month preceding sponsorship.
