SUMMARY:Open Rehearsal with the Christ Church Adult Choir
DESCRIPTION:The Christ Church Adult Choir will host an open rehearsal on March 1 from 7:15 – 8:50pm, for those who are interested in a high level choral experience.  This is not an audition (though auditions are required to join the choir) or a commitment but rather an opportunity to see if this feels like a good fit for you.  For more information, or to sign-up, fill out the form below:\nhttps://christchurchraleigh.wufoo.com/forms/r1dv3nxq0hfgji0/\n \nThe Christ Church Adult Choir is a mixed volunteer and professional ensemble, which is responsible for singing the weekly 11 a.m. Eucharist, as well as other major services such as Lessons and Carols, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and occasional services of choral evensong. Rehearsals generally take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 – 9:05 p.m., and occasionally on Saturdays. This choir offers singers with prior choral experience, sight-reading and excellent musicianship skills an opportunity to strive for musical excellence while enjoying Christian fellowship and community in a supportive environment.  Though we sing a wide array of music, our repertoire is grounded in the Anglican choral tradition.\nIn July of 2023, The Adult Choir will undertake a choral residency at Westminster Abbey with additional services at St. George’s, Windsor as well as St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Christ Church Cathedrals in Dublin, Ireland.\n
