DESCRIPTION:On December 10, 1933, the Duke Chapel Choir presented a concert of “selections from Handel’s Messiah,” and a beloved Duke University holiday tradition was born. This year marks the 90th anniversary of that first performance. In music that is both treasured and timeless, Handel recounts the story of humanity’s redemption through the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ.
