DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nThe Virginia Tull Fine Arts Series is pleased to present it’s next Concert in the 2025-2026 Season on Saturday, March 21, 2026, 7:00PM:  The Wingate University Singers, directed by Dr. Nana Wolfe-Hill, Director of Choral Activities.  This concert will be held in the Sanctuary at Wake Forest Baptist Church, 107 E. South Avenue, Wake Forest, www.wakeforestbaptistchurch.org ( http://www.wakeforestbaptistchurch.org/ )\n\n\nThe Wingate University Singers is a vocal chamber ensemble of excellent undergraduate singers. Students come to Wingate University from around the state of North Carolina and the surrounding region with varied academic plans and majors. The University is located near Charlotte, North Carolina, which is a short drive from both the beautiful Appalachian Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. \n\nThrough regional and international concert tours and state-wide engagements, the Wingate University Choirs are recognized for musical and artistic excellence. The choirs perform diverse repertoire that represents classical and world musical traditions, American music, gospel and spirituals, and folk songs. Recent performance opportunities include J. S. Bach’s Mass in B minor, Robert Ray’s Gospel Mass and Margaret Bond’s Credo. Committed to global education, the choirs have travelled to South Africa, Austria and the Czech Republic, and to the Baltic countries of Estonia and Latvia where they received Grand Prix honors at the Pärnu International Choral Festival.  The March 21st program will feature Alex Berko’s Sacred Space (with violin, cello and piano) and Jake Runestad’s Come to the Woods, along with other selections.\n\nWe hope you will join us for this inspiring vocal concert and support this group of talented young singers as they share their gifts.\nTickets: $15/General; $10/Senior Adults; $5/Students; Free/12 & Under\n\n\nTickets may be purchased by visiting the website www.virginiatull.org or at the door on the day of the concert.\nNOTE:  All names for ticket purchases made via the website will be added to our “will call” list (i.e., no tickets are mailed to you).\n\nAny questions, please email virginiatullmusicandarts@gmail.com.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
