Voices – The Chapel Hill Chorus 40th Season Celebration: Awakenings of the Soul

Voices – The Chapel Hill Chorus, with orchestra, presents their 40th Season Celebration Concert at UNC Chapel Hill’s beautiful Memorial Hall. The chorus will perform Ola Gjeilo’s Dark Night of the Soul and Luminous Night of the Soul. The concert will feature the World Premiere of a newly commissioned work in celebration of the 40th Anniversary by composer Todd Stewart Coleman entitled Having Seen Afar Off. The eight-movement song cycle for chorus sets selected poems by Sarah Teasdale to music.
