Oak City Voices Present “Favorites Singer’s Edition”

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2026 @ 5:00 PM

UNIVERSALIST FELLOWSHIP OF RALEIGH

3313 Wade Avenue, Raleigh

THE CELEBRATION BEGINS!

For our Tenth Anniversary, Oak City Voices presents a season of favorites! This entire season is a showcase of our most beloved pieces from the past ten years.

We’re kicking things off with the Singer’s Edition, a program voted on by our own singers. Featuring works by composers like Eric Whitacre and John Rutter, alongside pop icon and songwriter Billy Joel, we’re bringing you an incredible mix of jazz standards, folksongs, and modern classics for women’s choir. Featured soloists are Karen Davis, Mandi Goswami, and Barb Sawyer. There is truly something for everyone!

We are thrilled to welcome back flutist Dr. Mary-Elizabeth Thompson as our guest soloist. She joins pianist Martha Abernethy, Artistic Director and Conductor Russell McKinney, and the Oak City Voices singers for an unforgettable evening of music.

In addition, our Annual Basket Raffle will take place at this concert. Themed baskets will match the songs we are singing! Be sure to purchase a raffle ticket for $5 in the lobby before the concert. The drawing will take place at intermission and you must be present to win!

Concert tickets are available at the link below or at the door. Doors open at 4:30 pm; general seating.

Tickets: $12 adults; $10 youth/senior; Children under 13 free.
