Heart of Carolina A Cappella

The Central Carolina Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society is home to Heart of Carolina A Cappella, founded in 2005. The group sings 4-8 part a cappella harmony in a number of styles including barbershop, jazz, pop, and even contemporary classical a cappella works by Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo and others. In addition to the flagship mixed chorus, there is also Melodiam, our treble clef ensemble, and Concordia, our bass clef ensemble. Members are from throughout the Triangle area; the group is open to anyone of good character with superb singing skills and a desire to perform in public and in competition.
