The Alamance Chorale was organized in 1974 to give area vocalists an opportunity to present quality music, both sacred and secular, to the local community. A volunteer organization, the Chorale is a member of the Alamance County Arts Council and is open to any adult or high school student interested in choral singing. The group presents 2 or 3 major concerts a year and specializes in sacred and classical music. We also present selections from Broadway musicals, choruses from famous operas, madrigals, and much more.
The Burlington Boys Choir is an SATB ensemble consisting of auditioned boys, ages 8-12, from Alamance County. The mission of the choir is to maintain a living choral tradition in Alamance and to promote self-esteem and discipline among its members.
