Description

I just formed this all new, girls-only chorus for singers age 6-12, with consideration for mature girls that are younger than 6.

We get together about 2 Saturdays a month from 11:30am to 1:30pm at my house in Cary near the Trader Joe’s on Kildaire Farm Road and SW Cary Parkway. We start with vocal warm-ups and singing in rounds, take a short snack break, and then practice music we will perform. Half of the pieces are selected by me to be songs that I find of value for their singing and learning. The other half are songs they know and enjoy, like Taylor Swift and The Greatest Showman.

They will perform for Veteran’s Day, Halloween and Christmas in low-pressure, nurturing environments. Girls that want to make up small dance moves or create props for the performances are welcomed to.

I have been in choirs my whole life and am I piano teacher by trade. A high school voice student also assists at each practice and is a good role-model for them as well.
