The North Carolina Boys Choir educates and trains boys and young men in the art of performing the finest music in the choral tradition. Through musical training and choral experiences, the young men develop an appreciation of a wide range of choral literature. They gain self-confidence and poise, develop leadership and teamwork skills, and acquire self-discipline and self-respect. The choir has multiple levels: a Training Choir, a Concert Choir, Scholars and a Chamber Choir.
Founded in 1980 as Chapel Hill-Carrboro Community Chorus, Voices is dedicated to performing high-quality choral music from a variety of traditions. Voices performs two main concerts per year, in December and in May. Voices also has a smaller select ensemble, Cantari and a seven-week Voices Summer Chorus.
Women’s Voices Chorus is the premier Triangle chorus for sopranos and altos. While performing a wide and diverse repertoire, it remains steadfast in support of its threefold mission: to provide a welcoming place in the Triangle for women to share the joy of singing together, to promote choral works written by and for women, and to strive to achieve the highest standards of musical excellence. The chorus performs ticketed concerts each Winter and Spring.
