Heart.Led by co-directors LJ Martin and Clair Jurs, Greensboro Youth Chorus is dedicated to helping students, K-12, develop their musical talents, nurturing their love for music, and creating a strong sense of community through the joy of singing together. They provide a positive and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and express themselves as talented musicians, amazing performers, and exceptional individuals.
Focus is on singing quality, inspirational music, primarily SATB, accompanied by a variety of instruments including organ, piano and orchestra. The Chancel Choir leads worship from the choir loft most Sundays and also enjoys community outreach performances and projects. Singers who are not members of the church are welcome.
