Alamance Chorale Spring Concert
Alamance Chorale will present its spring concert on May 2nd at Williams High School in Burlington at 3pm. There is no admission charge. The theme of the concert is “I Hear America Singing!”. The program features songs celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States. The first half of the program will include American songs from across the nation such as “Old Man River” and “Yellow Rose of Texas”. The second half of the program will feature favorites such as “God Bless America”, “I Hear America Singing”, “E Pluribus Unim”, and many other familiar tunes. A prelude of patriotic songs on the historic theater organ in the auditorium will be featured prior to the concert.
