Bask in “Wint’ry Light” at Voices Chapel Hill’s Winter Concert
Join Voices, Chapel Hill’s premier community choir, for our December 2024 concert, Wint’ry Light. The concert will feature Margaret Bonds’ signature Cantata, The Ballad of the Brown King, with select professional soloists. Voices’ full company will perform classic repertoire including Daniel Pinkham’s Christmas Cantata and five carols arranged by John Rutter as well as new works including Nathaniel Adams’ Lux Brumalis and Trent Worthington’s Three Winter Songs. Voices’ Chamber ensemble, Cantari, will round out the repertoire with Morten Lauridsen’s brilliant Midwinter Songs.
You can join Voices in welcoming Wint’ry Light at Moeser Auditorium in our Saturday evening performance on 12/14 at 7:30pm or Sunday matinee on 12/15 at 3pm. Tickets will be sold on a sliding scale with pricing starting at $5. Parking is recommended in the Wallace Parking Deck (125 East Rosemary St.)
