Chapel Hill Tenor and Bass singers wanted

Voices Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill’s premier community choir, is pleased to announce it is hosting auditions for Tenor and Bass singers on Tuesday, August 11th and Tuesday, August 18th, both from 6pm-9pm. Singers sign up for a short slot and are not committed to the entire time range. Any singer who can sing in a Tenor or Bass range, regardless of their gender identity or past choral experience, is welcome to audition.  

The audition consists of meeting our conductor, Dr. Stephen Futrell, doing some vocalizations and call and response exercises, and singing a prepared song of your choice.  Dr. Futrell will be listening for range, expression, resonant vocal quality, and your ability to sing in tune and to project your voice. Singers may also audition for Cantari, Voices’ chamber choir, at this time.
