Choral Society of Durham: Chamber Choir Concerts
The 36 singers of the Chamber Choir will sing music from many of the musical styles that the Choral Society of Durham has performed in recent years: gospel, jazz, spirituals, major oratorios, and more. From the Beatles to Bach, from Rachmaninoff’s Vespers to Renaissance madrigals, from Dan Forrest’s gentle words of outreach and healing to Rimsky-Korsakov’s delirious Flight of the Bumblebee and from the words of Michelangelo to words from the Mass, there’s plenty of inspired, delightful choral music to enjoy listening to!
