Choral Society of Durham: Sing We and Chant It
The 36 singers of the Chamber Choir will sing music from many of the musical styles that the Choral Society of Durham has performed in recent years: gospel, jazz, spirituals, major oratorios, and more. From the Beatles to Bach, from Rachmaninoff’s Vespers to Renaissance madrigals, from Dan Forrest’s gentle words of outreach and healing to Rimsky-Korsakov’s delirious Flight of the Bumblebee and from the words of Michelangelo to words from the Mass, there’s plenty of inspired, delightful choral music to enjoy listening to! This is a free concert, donations welcome.
