NC Master Chorale presents Mozart & Handel Vespers and Dixit Dominus
For our final concert of the season, 170 voices of the Symphonic Choir perform Mozart’s sacred choral masterpiece Vesperae solennes de confessore (Solemn Vespers for a Confessor), K. 339 with chamber orchestra. They will be joined by the NCMC Youth Choir for the beautiful “Laudate Dominum” movement. This season finale will also feature a 60-voice ensemble and soloists performing Handel’s Dixit Dominus, as well Mozart’s spririted Regina Coeli, K. 276 performed by the Youth Choir.
