SONAM Fall Concert Supporting Peacemaking Scholarships

Singers of New and Ancient Music (SONAM) is a chorus committed to creating high-quality sacred and secular music and giving back to the community. Our mission is to make excellent choral music that supports local non-profits through benefit concerts.

Join us for our fall concert featuring music of peace from the Middle East with music from Britten, Friedman, Dawson, Braun, Palestrina, and more. Donations accepted at the door in lieu of tickets. All proceeds go to United Church of Chapel Hill’s peacemaking scholarships, which are awarded to local high school seniors who aspire to a career in peacemaking.
