SONAM Late Spring Concert Supporting Urban Ministries

Singers of New and Ancient Music (SONAM) is a chorus committed to creating high-quality sacred and secular music and giving back to the community. Our mission is to make excellent choral music that supports local non-profits through benefit concerts.

Join us for our second spring concert and our final performance of this season! It will feature music about American waters by a diverse array of American composers and poets, including pieces by Shaw, Choi, Alston, Esmail, Hogan, and more. Donations are accepted at the door in lieu of tickets. Proceeds will support Urban Ministries of Durham, which works to end homelessness and fight poverty by offering food, shelter, and a future to neighbors in need.
