SONAM Spring Concert and Master’s Recital for Jada Poteat

Join Singers of New and Ancient Music (SONAM) for their spring concert! Jada Poteat, SONAM Fellow and UNC Greensboro Master of Music in Choral Conducting student, will conduct the ensemble for her Master’s recital. Jada has selected a fantastic variety of music, ranging from a spiritual by Stacey Gibbs and a setting of a Cherokee text by James Green, to the premiere of Allan Friedman’s new Sanskrit composition Hymn to Surya and other works by Gjeilo, Pärt, Runestad, and more.
