Triangle Vocal Project: We Shall Be Heard
Join us for an extraordinary evening of music and history with the Triangle Vocal Project as we present, “We Shall Be Heard: Uncovering Unique Choral Works by Women Through the Ages.”
This inspiring program delves into the hidden treasures of music history, celebrating the profound contributions of female composers who challenged societal norms to express their artistic voices. Featuring works from the melodies of Hildegard von Bingen in the medieval era to the contemporary compositions of Kerensa Briggs, along with notable figures like Isabella Leonarda, Mél Bonis, Esther Scliar, Reena Esmail, and yes, Dolly Parton, this concert promises a powerful tribute to the eras of remarkable women.
Join us on Sunday, June 23rd, at 4 PM at the Eno River Universalist Unitarian Fellowship. Donations collected during the event will support Sisters Voices, empowering the young women of today through music.
