Vintage Dickens Caroling Performance Group for 2025 Season

Join The Unsanctioned Rehearsals Society for some classic Christmas Caroling public performances! We’re putting together a vintage Dickens caroling group for several performances this 2025 season.

We’re Seeking:

Singers in all voice parts — Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass — who can:

• Sing harmonies accurately and confidently
• Stay in character while engaging with audiences
• Bring energy and warmth to this festive experience

Performers should be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods, as our group will be wandering during events like the Clayton Tree Lighting.

Please prepare one classic carol to perform a capella.

So far the performance schedule includes:

• Thurs, Dec 4 (5-7:30pm) Clayton Tree Lighting
• Sun, Dec 14 (6-7pm) Caroling Concert at Elizabeth UMC

Rehearsals will be one night a week from Nov 3 -Dec 3, skipping Thanksgiving Week. Exact days TBA soon. All rehearsals and performances will be in/near Clayton, NC.

Performers must provide their own costume, but our experienced costumer is here to help source and sew. We’ll post the cast list in time for the after Halloween costume sales! If cast, dues are $10 to help with administrative costs.
