Voice Placement for Durham Community Chorale

Come Sing with Us!

The Durham Community Chorale, under the direction of Melody Zentner, accepts voice placement applications each semester. We are looking for vocalists who are ready to come to rehearsal fully prepared (notes and rhythms learned), who can memorize music, who have a willingness to sing different genres of music from classical to jazz, and who enjoy a highly interactive process, which includes taking personal direction from the Artistic Director. Experience in ensemble singing is preferred but not required.

Voice placement will take place Tuesday, September 3, at the Durham Arts Council at 6:30PM, and Thursday, September 5, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 6:30PM. If you’re interested, please click on the event link to apply.
